The mystery of the Dog Tracks was, in the end, quite simple in a happy way since it wasn't a dog at all; it was an otter. The mystery of the red squirrels is still a mystery but then we need to keep a little mystery going.

I have enjoyed reading the blog... takes me back to the lovely time as a volunteer on the island in 2004 clearing aggressive, wild, rhododendrons from the North of the Island. It was a big turning point in my life and I have been so much happier since then. I long to return to the Island as volunteer and help in any way I can.

Love, Light and Peace

Looks like a daikon radish to me. It's a large one, but not impossibly large.

Don't the sheep and goats do tremendous damage to the natural (woody) vegetation and potentially to any plants and trees you grow on the island?

I just landed back in Singapore after a wonderful 4 weeks in Britain. I feel so blessed to have discovered Holy Isle. I was so moved emotionally and found it a magical and wonderful place. I've promised myself that I will be back to experience Holy Isle again. Until next time...
Love and peace to all who come to Holy Isle. Helena x
